The Daily Herald ran a page-one story Sunday, Feb. 25 explaining how the Pathways at NLU program gives first-generation and lower-income students opportunities to pursue their college degrees and plan for meaningful careers.
Daily Herald Senior Staff Writer Madhu Krishnamurthy and photographer Gilbert Boucher visited some Pathways classrooms and interviewed students, staff and administrators, including NLU President Nivine Megahed, Ph.D. and Aarti Dhupelia, vice president of strategic initiatives.
The article includes a video of Pauline DeGrazia, director of undergraduate programming for Pathways at the Wheeling campus, explaining the program, and action shots of students in the classroom.
Krishnamurthy also appeared on ABC7 television Sunday morning to talk about Pathways and her story. View the video here.
