Crain’s Names NLU President ‘Notable Woman in Education’ President Nivine Megahed, Ph.D. included in inaugural year of the award

Crain’s Chicago Business has honored National Louis University President Nivine Megahed, Ph.D., by including her in Crain’s Custom Media’s Notable Women in Education section.

The 17 elite educators named as notable in the inaugural year of the award include a power group of women in Chicago-area colleges and universities. College presidents, deans, researchers and provosts make up the group.

The section noted that Megahed’s passion is building student-centered organizations focused on student success and empowering the most underserved to achieve social and economic mobility through education.

It also noted her previous roles as a faculty member and dean and her experience overseeing multiple institutions and campuses.

Crain’s published the “Notable Women in Education” section in its May 28, 2018 ¬†edition.
