Ashley Boling Molyneaux earned her Ed.S. degree from National Louis University in 2012.

National Louis University alum Ashley Boling Molyneaux grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and lived in Chicago for many years while earning two master’s degrees and working as a teacher and administrator in Chicago-area schools.

She received her second graduate degree, an Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision, from National Louis University in 2012.

In August 2015, she and her sister Hayley Boling started the Elkhart Education Foundation in order to help their hometown’s school district fill gaps in its funding. She commuted from Chicago to the northern Indiana community for about a year and then moved to Elkhart with her husband Wes Molyneaux and their three children.

Now she’s running for mayor of her hometown, buoyed by a number of awards she has received. Her work was recognized as a Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Award Winner. She was voted an “Angel Among Us” by the Goshen News and, under her leadership, the Elkhart Education Foundation was named the #1 Charity in Elkhart County in 2018.

Her campaign platform focuses on economic development, education, housing and making the city a travel and business destination.

The election will be held on May 7.
